Samenvatting
Paul de Hoog is the Business Opportunity Manager for plastic circularity projects in the Netherlands. In this role, he leads the development and commercialization of innovative technologies aimed at advancing plastic recycling, with a strong focus on chemical recycling. Paul is responsible for scaling new technologies to commercial assets, securing permits, ensuring financial viability, and establishing a robust market for circular plastics.
A key part of his mission is fostering collaboration across industries—particularly with the waste processing sector—and with government organizations to drive innovation and enable new business models that support a circular economy in the Netherlands.
Paul brings extensive experience from various roles at Shell, spanning chemicals, technology, trading and supply, and asset integration. He is based in Rotterdam and holds a PhD in Chemistry from Leiden University.
